The Department of Oral Medicine & Radiology focuses on diagnosing and managing diseases localized in the mouth, head, and neck, as well as addressing oral manifestations of systemic diseases. It plays a vital role in the diagnosis, prevention, and management of oral precancerous lesions, temporomandibular disorders, traumatic injuries, and various bone disorders. Students in this department receive comprehensive training in systematic patient evaluation under the guidance of qualified and experienced faculty members renowned in their fields.
In addition to routine diagnostic procedures, the department features a fully equipped Dental Radiology unit. This section is outfitted with advanced diagnostic technologies, including intraoral and extraoral X-ray machines, an orthopantomography unit with a cephalostat attachment, and an RVG unit for enhanced imaging.
The department employs innovative teaching methods to deliver high-quality education and
